It is well known that Alsace and its inhabitants are synonymous with the French way of life and good taste. Christian Betzinger is Alsatian, an electronics and electrical engineer and has much more to offer: He knows all about measurement and testing technology and loves dealing with people. He has therefore been looking after dataTec customers from Lake Constance to the north of Baden-Württemberg for more than a year.

„Many of my customers have known dataTec for years. They have high expectations of the expertise of the dataTec consultants and have great trust in us and our knowledge.“ The excellent cooperation with his colleagues – whether at the Reutlingen headquarters or in the field - is particularly valuable to him. „Our customers and I benefit from this every day.“

One of his colleagues is Mohamed Abouzeid, who holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering. He joined dataTec in April 2020. „That was at the beginning of corona. Instead of on-site customer visits, there were lots of online meetings.“ It wasn't an easy situation, „but in hindsight, our customers managed it really well together with us.“

As an expert in high-end electronic measurement technology, he advises dataTec customers in almost all of Bavaria. He works closely with the application engineers at the head office. „The challenges are often quite complex. Our big advantage here is that we provide manufacturer-independent advice and have a huge pool of expertise, which our customers really appreciate. They know that only the customer's expertise and needs count for us.“

For the past four years, Uwe Stawarz, communications engineer and graduate engineer in information technology, has been travelling through the federal states of Saxony, Thuringia and neighbouring regions for dataTec to advise users. „What I always find remarkable is the immense level of awareness of dataTec. However, our business also thrives on our personal presence and expertise.“

This is particularly in demand, for example, when a customer knows their goal, „but doesn't know which measuring devices they can use to solve this task.“ In Saxony and Thuringia in particular, there are many companies that work with new technologies such as alternative drive processes or semiconductor innovations and develop new processes. „Although they all need measurement technology, they basically have completely different core competences. It's really fun when we can help them.“
