dataTec trainee on language internship in Ireland.

The trainee for marketing communication Judith Grauer from dataTec took advantage of the ERASMUS study programme and travelled to Dublin for four weeks in July 2022.

The internship abroad was implemented together with the agency Twin, which has its local headquarters in Dublin. The aim of the programme is to strengthen European values, promote mobility for learning and cooperation purposes and develop intercultural skills. For pupils and students, the ERASMUS programme is a great opportunity to increase their future career prospects. But of course it is also about improving English language skills and personal development.

Judith visited the language centre during the first week and had the opportunity to brush up on the language basics for her internship. The programme is oriented towards the existing language level of the respective interns.

The three-week internship that follows ties in thematically with the training occupation and thus enables a deep insight into the working methods and practices of the internship company. The exchange also strengthens access to the English language in a professional context and international thinking. Judith was able to get a taste of the marketing department of the company "Nutty delights" and actively support it - for example in the area of social media. At the end of the four weeks, she can look back on an eventful time, many new experiences and impressions and received an international certificate. The colleagues at dataTec are looking forward to benefiting from the new ideas and impulses.
