dataTec is the new FEU cooperation partner
The Fördergesellschaft elektrotechnischer Unternehmen mbH (FEU) has gained a new cooperation partner in dataTec AG from Reutlingen. Since July 1, 2024, the specialist distributor for testing and measurement technology has been part of the team. "As dataTec, we see ourselves as an important partner of the electrical trade. With membership in the FEU, we underscore our role as a reliable partner for testing and measurement devices, which are indispensable for efficiency, safety, and quality in electrical engineering," says Jörg Scholl, Head of Electronic Test & Measurement DACH at dataTec.
With more than 35 years of experience and a dedicated team, dataTec is the right sparring partner when it comes to finding the best solution for a wide range of measurement tasks. Since 2018, dataTec has been expanding its sales activities in Europe and is currently active in Spain, Switzerland, Austria, as well as Sweden, Estonia, and Finland. The broad product portfolio of over 50 manufacturers includes, among other things, mobile and stationary testing devices, power and energy analysers, multimeters, multimeter clamps, thermal imaging cameras, data logger, network testers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, modular measurement technology, and test systems. With over 150 employees, the Swabian family-owned company advises customers from a wide range of industries and sectors – from craft businesses to industrial companies, authorities, and educational institutions – from its headquarters in Reutlingen.
The partnership with the FEU enables dataTec to engage in even closer exchange with the highly qualified electrical trade guild companies in Baden-Württemberg and strengthens the network within the industry. Through the cooperation, dataTec aims to tackle the challenges and opportunities of technological change together with the companies and contribute to the further development of electrical engineering. "We look forward to contributing our expertise and commitment to the FEU and to shaping a successful and future-oriented collaboration together with our partners," concludes Jörg Scholl.
In concrete terms, the E-CHECK already addresses the current topics of the electrical trade in the private sector. Whether photovoltaics, safe power distribution, lightning and surge protection, access and video control, intrusion alarm systems, data networks, home entertainment, e-mobility, safe electrical appliances, optimal lighting, or smoke detectors – the dataTec portfolio offers various products for the craft businesses in all these areas.
“As FEU GmbH, we are therefore pleased to have found a partner in the Reutlingen-based expert for testing and measurement technology that fits perfectly with the profile of the electrical trade guild companies in the country: being at the cutting edge of technology, as well as having high standards of quality in the services provided, be it consulting, planning, design, installation, documentation, or service. Distinguishing oneself from competitors in the market through qualified employees and high competence – that is the "DNA" of our member companies”, says Andreas Bek, in his dual role as Managing Director of the Association and Managing Director of FEU GmbH.
