The FLIR Ex-Series thermal imaging camera is ideal for electrical and mechanical inspections.

Its ability to detect potential problem areas makes it quick and easy to inspect equipment and prevent breakdowns. Building inspectors will also quickly discover the benefits of the FLIR Ex-Series when looking for heat loss, checking underfloor heating and many other building-specific problems.

The FLIR Ex-Series models are easy-to-use thermal imaging cameras that open up a new dimension of inspection possibilities for the user. As a cost-effective replacement for a point pyrometer, they generate a thermal image with temperature data from each pixel. A FLIR thermal imaging camera can capture an entire area without ever missing a potential problem area, no matter how small.

Absolutely easy to use: Thanks to a fixed, focus-free lens, the FLIR Ex-Series cameras are extremely easy to use. The E8-XT model has an extended temperature range and measures up to +550 °C instead of +250 °C. By simply aiming and recording, you can quickly generate JPEG thermal images that contain all the temperature data you need.

Daylight camera and FLIR-patented MSX process: A built-in digital camera makes observations and inspections faster and easier, as the daylight images can be used as a reference to the thermal image. FLIR's patented MSX technology delivers thermal images with outstanding image quality in real time. This results in razor-sharp thermal images, faster alignment to the target and clear reports without noise data.
