Description
2400 | SourceMeter SMU, Source Measure Unit, 4-quadrant operation as source and sink, 200 V, 1 A, 20 W
A source measurement unit (SMU) supplies your DUT (Device Under Test) with a defined current or a defined voltage and simultaneously measures the behavior of the test object as a measuring device. Depending on the measuring range and resolution of the integrated digital multimeter down to the µV and pA range, a design in the development stage or the quality in the production environment can be assessed.
Intuitive user interface, intelligent functions:
With the SourceMeter 2400 with integrated 6½-digit digital multimeter, multitouch-capable display and integrated math functions, standard calculations can be carried out and displayed automatically. In addition, histograms can be created to e.g. B. to determine variances. The SMU 2400 can be operated without an external PC, so that your results are available very quickly, which is an important aspect especially when testing in the production environment.
Typical areas of application:
- Semiconductors, active and passive components
- Integrated circuits such as IC, RFIC, MMIC, MOSFET
- Laser diodes and modules, LEDs, photo detectors and sensors
- Module fuses such as TVS (Transient Voltage Superessor) and MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor)
- Switches, relays, plugs
- LIV drives (lithium-ion vehicles)
- DC power sources / power supplies / power supplies
Examples of use:
- Leakage current measurement
- Measurement of small voltages and resistances
- IDDQ: Test of CMOS-IC for manufacturing defects by measuring the IC quiescent current with statically assigned inputs
- IV characteristic curve recording, e.g. B. of diodes
- Insulation resistance and dielectric strength
- Measurement of temperature coefficients
- Breakdown voltage and current
- DC parameter test
- Efficiency measurement of photovoltaic components
