The DAQ6510 is a fully equipped 6½-digit digital multimeter (DMM) for high-performance measurements on electronic components and devices. The 12 available plug-in modules offer you a high degree of flexibility for setting up a wide variety of data acquisition or test systems. To maximize the measurement speed, measurements up to 0.0005 power line cycles (PLC) or 8.3 μs for 60 Hz power lines (10 μs for 50 Hz power lines) can be performed. When analyzing transient signals, use the DAQ6510's digitize function to capture a voltage or current waveform at up to 1 MSa / s.
The DAQ6510 has input sockets on the front control panel, which enable it to be used as a 6½-digit DMM for tests and troubleshooting. If no multi-channel measurements are required, the DAQ6510 acts as a data logger. This double functionality enables maximum utilization of your device.
With the 12 available switching and control modules, a test system can be set up that measures or controls up to 80 test objects (DUTs) in a multiplex configuration. The DAQ6510 is equipped with two 6 x 8 matrix modules, for a total of 96 crosspoints, and can therefore test one or more ICs. To carry out production tests in large quantities, select the semiconductor relay module to optimize throughput with a scanning speed of up to 800 channels per second. Additional modules have cold junction compensation as well as temperature references for temperature monitoring of the thermocouples during environmental tests and accelerated life tests with HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screen).
The DAQ6510 has built-in intelligence to run a test script, make decisions, and control other instruments. Using the Keithley Test Script Processor (TSP) measurement and control language, the user can either run existing scripts or write their own scripts. With TSP scripting, complete test programs in the form of test scripts can run directly on the device. Use a TSP script and the TSP link interface to carry out a test for communication from device to device without any external PC control.
KickStart allows you to configure, test and collect data for multiple devices such as DMM, data loggers, power sources and SMU. You can control up to eight devices simultaneously and view millions of readings per device. For the best overview, KickStart displays your data graphically and also offers comparison functions for data from the history. Use KickStart to set up, program and control the DAQ6510, to configure channels, set limit values or trigger sources and read the results in real time within a few minutes. The native drivers for Labview, IVI-C and IVI-COM are also available for download for the personal application software of your choice.
