Double-pulse test in less than a minute: The AFG31000 series arbitrary function generator has integrated software for double-pulse tests. This allows you to generate two waveforms with different pulse widths from 20 ns to 150 µs directly on the touchscreen, e.g. to measure switching parameters or evaluate the dynamic behavior of state-of-the-art power devices. No external PC applications or manual programming are required.

With the integrated ArbBuilder editor, you can easily create and edit arbitrary signals without the need for a separate PC or file transfer. The amplitude and offset parameters are saved in the signal. This means that the settings do not have to be re-parameterized after loading a normalized arbitrary signal.

In Advance mode, you can create even more complex signals with a length of up to 16 million points per channel (optionally up to 128 million) and flexible timing, as well as define their output sequence. Advanced Mode supports inputs for branch, repeat, wait, skip, go-to, external trigger-in, manual trigger, timed trigger and SCPI functions.

Check the real signal on the DUT:

With patented InstaView technology, you can see the actual signal on your DUT directly on the display - without the need for a separate oscilloscope with probes. This saves time and eliminates potentially erroneous test results due to mismatched impedances.

Bandwidth, memory capacity and the sequence option can be easily upgraded thanks to the software-based architecture, allowing you to customize and update your function generator as your measurement tasks change.
