Description
RSA518A | Portable Real Time USB Signal Analyzer, 9 kHz ... 18 GHz
The Tektronix RSA500 Series Spectrum Analyzers are designed to help spectrum managers, troubleshooters, and network managers locate sources of interference, keep RF networks operational, and demonstrate their activities to help solve problems using real-time spectrum analysis.
The heart of the system is a USB RF spectrum analyzer, which detects bandwidths of 40 MHz very precisely even under harsh environmental conditions. With a dynamic range of 70 dB and an upper frequency limit of up to 18 GHz (3 GHZ: RSA503A, 7.5 GHz: RSA507A, 13.6 GHz: RSA513A, 18 GHz: RSA518A), you can examine all signals of interest and trust the measurement results with absolute confidence .
Thanks to the USB form factor, you no longer have to hold a heavy device, just a light Windows tablet or notebook computer. Holding a light PC instead of a heavy spectrum analyzer means you can move faster for longer and get your work done faster.
The optional tracking generator enables gain and loss measurements for quick checking of filters, duplexers and other network components. And you can take cable and antenna measurements of standing wave ratio, reflection loss, distance to defect and cable loss as required.
Product features:
- Wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 3.0 (RSA503A) / 7.5 GHz (RSA507A) / 13.6 GHz (RSA513A9) / 18 GHz (RSA518A) for a wide range of analysis requirements
- 40 MHz acquisition bandwidth enables real-time analysis for transient acquisition and vector analysis
- GPS / GLONASS / Beidou standard receiver for map display
- optional tracking generator for gain / loss, antenna and cable measurements
- Streaming capture can be used to record and play back long-term events
- Environmental, shock and vibration specifications according to MIL-STD-28800 class 2 for use in harsh conditions
- Integrated battery to extend the usage time on site
- The SignalVu-PC software offers real-time signal processing with DPX spectrum / spectrogram so that you can keep the time to look for transient and other disturbances to a minimum.
- A minimum signal duration of 100 μs leads to a detection probability of 100%, so that you can identify problems from the first signal detection.
- Application programming interface for the development of user-defined programs
- Accessories, which include tablet computers, calibration kits, adapters and phase-stable cables, enable the compilation of complete solutions for field use for troubleshooting and transmitter maintenance.
