Description
RL42-H | High voltage relay 10000VAC / max. 30A number of poles 2, coil 24VDC / 0.25A
If voltages up to 10000 V have to be switched in combination with high currents, it is very difficult to find suitable switching elements. That is why SPS electronic, specialist in electrical safety test technology (EST), has developed a special high-voltage relay.
In addition to the requirements for high voltages and high currents already mentioned, it is often also necessary to switch very low voltages in the mV range and currents in the mA range. The requirements regarding the quality of the switch contacts are therefore extremely high. A long service life must also be ensured for industrial use. The relays are used particularly in combined safety and function test systems for the testing of electro-technical products.
Here several kV are switched for the high voltage test while for the function test, e.g. B. in motors, currents up to 30 A occur. With a voltage of up to 10000 Veff and a contact load of max. 30 A or 10000 V, the high-voltage relays meet this requirement.
