The CMAD 1614 absorption sheath current blocking pliers consists of a gray, hinged plastic housing and a large number of halved ferrite rings that serve as absorbers. Floating ferrites in the lid guarantee optimal contact between the ferrite faces. With two quick-release fasteners on the side, the pliers can be opened or closed within seconds. In this way, cable harnesses or coaxial cables with a diameter of up to 26 mm can be embedded without breaking the connection. The combination of a short overall length and a large diameter to accommodate the cable bundle means that the CMAD 1614 can be used in many different ways. Each sheathed current clamp is supplied with individually measured calibration data.
