Real-time signal integrity and fast acquisition for real-time analysis: The high-performance RTP134B oscilloscope from Rohde and Schwarz stands for excellent signal fidelity and a high acquisition rate. Special front-end ASICs and hardware components for real-time processing enable high-precision measurements with outstanding measurement speed.

With the RTP Series B, the second generation of RTP oscilloscopes continues these standards:

  • 13.3" display and frontend layout with ~14% more display area (485 vs. 430 cm²) and 100% more pixels (2 million vs. 1 million)
  • New user interface (GUI) with an intuitive structure and new functions
  • 100 Mpts acquisition memory / Max. memory depth: 3 Gpts max.
  • New packages for triggering & decoding of serial protocols
  • New application options such as B. Advanced Eye (RTP-K136: 8 Gbps / RTP-K137: 16 Gbps), User defined math with Python or USB3.2 Rx compliance (RTP-K102)

The math module is available for both data acquisition and trigger functions. It connects directly to the real-time deembedding hardware and is used for troubleshooting differential signals. In addition, the RTP series offers all the necessary functions for reflection and transmission measurements in the time domain (TDR/TDT) and is therefore suitable for characterizing signal lines such as cables, connectors and conductor tracks as well as for troubleshooting.

Application areas:

The RTP oscilloscopes were developed for the automotive, industrial, telecommunications and aerospace sectors, among others. They support debugging of embedded designs that contain fast busses like PCI Express, MIPI or DDR memory interfaces as well as simple control and programming busses like SPI and I2C, multi-channel RF interfaces (radio or radar) and complex power management units .
