ESRP7 | Demonstration unit - EMI / EMC test receiver 9 kHz - 7 GHz (1316.4500.07)(ROHDE1088_2308_V).

The Rohde & Schwarz ESRP EMC test receiver is designed for diagnostic measurements during development and for pre-conformity measurements to prepare products for final certification testing. It measures electromagnetic interference in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 7 GHz using either a conventional step frequency scan or an FFT-based time domain scan, a method that significantly speeds up measurements. At the same time, the Rohde & Schwarz ESRP is a powerful, full-featured signal and spectrum analyzer for laboratory applications. The Rohde & Schwarz ESRP has a clear menu structure that, in combination with the intuitive touchscreen, makes the test receiver very easy to use in any mode.

The ESRP EMC / EMI test receiver from Rohde & Schwarz uses an FFT-based time domain scan to perform EMC measurements, which can be done in just a fraction of the time instead of hours as previously. This saves time and costs in product development and in preparing the product for final certification. An optional preselection function prevents overloading of the front end and ensures reproducible results. To make it easier for users to analyze interference signals, the ESRP from Rohde & Schwarz has proven functions such as IF analysis to display the spectrum around interference signals or the spectrogram display in analyzer mode. The clear menu structure makes it easier to navigate to a desired function or setting.

The compact and robust ESRPs can optionally be operated using a battery and are therefore also suitable for field use. Operation is via the intuitive touchscreen user interface with undo and restore functions. The integrated online help supports you if you have any questions or problems. Of course, the R&S ESRP can be remotely controlled via GPIB or LAN.

Product features:

  • EMI test receiver and signal/spectrum analyzer combined in one box
  • Optional preselection and preamplifier (R&S ESRP-B2)
  • Resolution bandwidths according to CISPR, optionally in ten steps from 10 Hz to 1 MHz (R&S ESRP-B29)
  • Weighting detectors: max. peak, min. peak, average, RMS, quasi-peak, average with time constant of the measuring device and RMS according to the current CISPR 16-1-1 version
  • Standard-compliant interference measurements for pulsed interference with repetition frequencies ≥ 10 Hz (with preselection/preamplifier option R&S ESRP-B2)
  • Optional very fast FFT-based time domain scan (R&S ESRP-K53)
  • Automatic test routines
  • IF analysis as an option (R&S ESRP-K56)
