The compact laboratory power supply of the R&S NGE100 series is particularly small, compact and quiet thanks to its modern architecture. The robust device is easy to use and is suitable for numerous applications in the training area, in development laboratories and in production. All channels are separately galvanically isolated and potential-free and can be connected in series or in parallel in order to increase the output voltage or the output current. In addition, they are electrically identical. This means that even complex circuits can be supplied without earthing problems. The successor to the NGE102 now has 4mm safety sockets.
Maximum values for current, voltage and power can be configured for each channel. Protection options that can be set particularly flexibly: Users can enter maximum values for voltage, current and power for each channel. The set electronic fuse can also be linked to other channels. As soon as the limit value is exceeded for one of the linked channels, all are de-energized. Users can also define a delayed response time for this fuse to prevent the supply from switching off in the event of brief current peaks. Remote-controllable for use in the rack The small and compact power supplies can be used as desktop devices or with a rack adapter as 19-inch modules. The devices can be remotely controlled via the integrated USB interface or optionally via LAN or WLAN. A digital trigger option is also available. The options can be activated easily with a keycode.
