With the HMF2550, Rohde & Schwarz is offering Value Instruments (formerly Hameg), a function generator based on the DDS principle at a price never seen before in this class.
The device provides the standard signal forms such as sine, square, pulse and triangle and the user can also generate freely definable arbitrary signals with a high resolution. Various types of modulation and a wobble function are also available.
