The RTA4000 series oscilloscope from Rohde & Schwarz offers 10-bit analog-digital conversion, 100 MSample memory depth and a touchscreen display. The large touchscreen display with a diagonal of 25.6 cm (10.1 inches) offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, making it one of the best in this oscilloscope class. Equipped with the touch function and an intuitive operating concept, you can switch between menus as you wish, set the scaling, zoom or move waveforms on the display.

The 10-bit analog-digital conversion leads to a four-fold improvement in signal representation compared with an 8-bit oscilloscope. The signals are displayed much sharper and fine signal details can be recognized.

100 MSample memory depth is available per channel. If interleave mode is switched on, the number of samples increases to 200 MSample, resulting in double the signal observation period. Overall, this is around 100 times more than what conventional oscilloscopes in this price class available on the market.

But this is not the only thing that sets the R&S RTA4000 family of oscilloscopes apart. Other functions are integrated/optional, such as a logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, spectrum analyzer, function generator, bit pattern generator and digital voltmeter. Special modes for frequency analysis, mask testing and data acquisition of long measurement sequences are also integrated, making troubleshooting in electronic systems easier.

With a sampling rate of up to 5 GS/s and a memory depth of up to 200 MSa, the RTA4000 oscilloscope from Rohde & Schwarz is one of the best on the market. With a signal acquisition rate of 64,000 waveforms/s, signal errors can be found quickly and reliably. The integrated standard tools such as QuickMeas, mask test, FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation), math functions, cursor functions and automatic measurements including statistics enable effective measurements and quickly produce results.
