In EMC applications, only the mean power value is usually of interest. This is exactly what the R&S NRP18AN power average sensors are ideal for. In addition to measuring ranges for radio communication, they cover the important bands in the lower frequency range, starting at 8 kHz. The users benefit from the excellent properties of the three-path diode measuring heads including a dynamic range of up to 93 dB, very little influence of the modulation on the measurement and an outstanding adaptation.
