The attractively priced FPC1500 spectrum analyzer impresses with its excellent quality, impeccable RF performance and a future-proof range of functions that can be expanded with keycodes. It has the largest high-resolution display in its class and also offers intelligent wireless remote control options via apps or PC software. With these features, the R&S FPC1500 is ideally suited for spectrum analysis applications in development, production, service and education.

Investment security
The basic model of the R&S FPC1500 covers a frequency range from 5 kHz to 1 GHz, which can be expanded to 2 GHz or 3 GHz by software upgrade - a novelty in this device class. Upgrades can be purchased as needed and are ready to use as soon as you enter a keycode. Recalibration is not necessary.

Very good RF performance
High sensitivity is crucial for measuring very weak signals. The R&S FPC1500 already offers a low background noise of -150 dBm (typ.). This is further reduced to -165 dBm (typ.) By an optional preamplifier that can be activated by keycode.

The device tolerates up to 2 watts of power at the RF input and can measure up to 1 W (30 dBm). This is 10 times more than comparable devices and is therefore protected against damage in the event of inadvertently applied high performance. In combination with the low background noise and high maximum input power, the R&S FPC1000 achieves an extraordinarily large measuring dynamic.

High resolution
The R&S FPC1500 offers the finest measurement resolution in its class with a 1 Hz resolution bandwidth. The display measures 10.1 inches (26 cm) in WXGA resolution. It is 26 percent larger and offers 2.6 times the resolution of all other entry-level spectrum analyzers. Thanks to this high measurement and display resolution, signals can be measured with a high level of detail.

Simple virtual operation
The R&S FPC1500 is easy to operate remotely. In addition to the standard wired Ethernet connection, the R&S FPC1500 also optionally offers a wireless WLAN interface. With R&S InstrumentView for Microsoft © Windows and the R&S MobileView platforms based on iOS / Android app, measurements can be carried out regardless of time and place.
