P2100A | Clearance Sale - 1 Port PDN Transmission Line Probe, Accessory Kit, 1x P2130A DC Block (DT1800_2110_L)

The P2100A probe is used to perform stability tests in the control loop of a power supply or switching power supply (Power Distribution Network / PDN). This probe offers a range of test options such as impedance measurements (one-port reflection measurement and two-port series and shunt measurements), step loading, ripple, noise, TDT / TDR, PC board resonances, clock jitter, and non-invasive stability tests.

This PDN probe is a 50 ? test lead probe. It offers several advantages over active or passive probes. The single-port probe tip with its wide bandwidth of 1 GHz allows ripple and noise measurements with optimal signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). This probe can be used for injecting noise to evaluate the sensitivity of power supplies and clock-sensitive components, as well as for qualifying low-noise amplifiers (LNA). In conjunction with the various insertion modules such as the DC block modules, preamplifiers and fast current injectors, the power supply control circuits can be very well assessed and measured.

These probes are suitable for measurements with network analyzers such as the Bode 100 or the Keysight E5061B.
