PC Oscilloscopes PicoScope 6000E Series.
The PicoScope 6000E series from Pico Technology are USB-based PC oscilloscopes for connection to a computer or laptop via a USB 3.0 interface. Thanks to the compact design of the models, they are portable and have a complete measurement solution in your pocket, no matter where you work.
Advanced and Powerful Oscilloscopes.
Models with four or eight analog channels and optional 8 or 16 digital channels with the plug-in 8-channel TA369 MSO pods, offer 8 to 12-bit vertical resolution with up to 1 GHz bandwidth, the deepest recording memory of up to 4 Gpts and 5 GSa/s sampling rate.
The PicoScope 6000E series is characterized by the time and amplitude resolution you need to detect critical signal integrity issues such as synchronization, interference, dropouts, noise, distortion and spurious signals.
The PicoScope 6000E models are ideal for design engineers working with high performance embedded systems, signal processing, power electronics, mechatronics and automotive designs, as well as researchers and scientists working on high performance multi-channel experiments in physics labs, particle accelerators and similar facilities.

What is FlexRes?
The Pico FlexRes oscilloscopes with flexible resolution allow you to reconfigure the oscilloscope hardware to optimize either the sampling rate or the resolution.
Configure your hardware in:
- A fast (5 GS/s) 8-bit oscilloscope for capturing digital signals
- A general purpose 10-bit oscilloscope
- A high-resolution 12-bit oscilloscope for audio work and other analog applications
Front panel
- Input channels A (1) to H (8)
- Probe compensation
- Ground connection for compensation
- Operation LED
- Status/trigger LED
- Connection for active probe, channels C (3) to F (6)
- Digital 1 and Digital 2 MSO module interfaces - compatible with the TA369 MSO module
Rear panel
- 50 MHz arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) with 14 bits
- AUX-TRIGGER I/O for triggering the oscilloscope from an external source at the logic level to integrate the oscilloscope into a wider system
- 10 MHz reference clock input - the oscilloscope automatically switches to the external reference when a clock signal is detected
- USB 3.0 port
- 12 V DC input - Use only the power supply provided with the oscilloscope
- Ground - compatible with bare wire or 4 mm (banana) plug
MSO Module TA369
The MSO capability of the PicoScope 6000E consists of a detachable active MSO module, powered from the oscilloscope, with eight permanently attached flying leads on MSO probes, which in turn are connected to the circuit under test. The MSO module is connected via a 0.5 m digital interface cable to one of the two digital interface connectors on the front of the oscilloscope. All models of the PicoScope 6000E support the MSO function. The MSO probes and accessories allow connection to pin headers with mixed signal and ground connections in any combination.
Functions:
- 8 digital inputs per module
- 500 MHz bandwidth, 1 GB/s
- 5 GS/s sampling via 16 digital channels
- 1 ns minimum pulse width
- Minimum load on the device under test
- Ground terminals for easy connection to 2-row pin headers with 2.54 mm pitch
- Ground cable and mini test hook supplied
Active probes A3000
The probes in the Pico A3000 series are active oscilloscope probes with high impedance. They are designed to have the least influence on the signal under test and to maximize its transfer to the PicoScope 6000E series via the intelligent probe interface. Thanks to its ergonomic design, it fits comfortably in the hand and has an additional button for starting and stopping the recording. The intelligent interface powers the probe via the oscilloscope and automatically sets the scaling and input impedance of the oscilloscope for the probe. The active probes of the Pico A3000 series (PQ254 / PQ265) have an input resistance of 1 MΩ and a capacitance of 0.9 pF and offer a high input impedance up to the GHz range.
Features:
- Up to 1.3 GHz bandwidth
- Click-to-fit
- Very light, flexible cable
- Direct connection via the intelligent probe interface
- One-button control of detection start and stop
- Automatic probe recognition and unit scaling
- LED status display
