Description
Bode 500 | Vector network & impedance analyzer, mHz to 450 MHz, integrated gain/phase meter
The PC-controlled vector network analyzer Bode500 is the optimal solution for measuring transfer functions and impedances in the frequency range from mHz to 450 MHz and thus enables the efficient and cost-effective control of electronic components and circuits.
With the OMICRON Lab Bode 500 vector network analyzer and the included PC software "Bode Analyzer Suite", the Bode500 network analyzer can not only determine S-parameters, but can also be used to measure transfer functions and to analyze the frequency of complex impedances such as capacitances and inductances.
Due to the excellent price-performance ratio, the Bode 500 network analyzer is ideal for industrial applications in production, research and development. The "Bode Analyzer Suite" also offers many useful functions for training and research in the academic and university sector.
With the Bode500 you have three devices in one:
- Vector network analyzer
- Gain/phase meter (Frequency response analyzer)
- Impedance analyzer
With the vector network analyzer function you can easily measure:
- S-parameters in the 50 Ohm system: S11 (input reflection) and S21 (forward transmission / amplification / attenuation of the input signal)
- Reflection coefficient and return loss
- Insertion loss of filters
- Group delays
- Transmission characteristics of amplifiers
The gain/phase meter function allows you to measure:
- Transfer function of electronic circuits
- Stability of power supplies and -Control circuits (such as DC/DC converters)
- Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) or the supply voltage rejection in power supplies
As an impedance analyzer, the Bode 500 enables you to analyze:
- Electromagnetic components such as transformers and chokes
- Capacitors and their parasitic properties
- Ultrasonic and piezoelectric components or systems
- Circuits with very high quality such as quartz filters and oscillators
- Input and output impedance of electronic circuits
