The PXI-6221 module from the M series is designed to control PXI/SCXI combination chassis via SCXI (Signal Conditioning Extension for Instrumentation). It has 16 ground-related analogue inputs or 8 differential analogue inputs, 24 synchronized digital I/O, two counters/timers with 32 bit resolution and digital triggering. The PXI multifunction I/O module provides cost-effective, reliable data acquisition capabilities for a wide range of applications, including simple laboratory automation, research and development, design validation/testing and production testing. The PXI 6221 module has a 68-pin VHDCI (very-high-density cable interconnect) connector on the front panel. The module can be supplemented with functions for measuring sensors and high voltages via SCXI signal conditioning modules. The NI-DAQmx driver with configuration program included in the scope of delivery simplifies the configuration and execution of measurements.
