The NI-9425 works with industrial logic levels and signals, allowing it to interface directly with a wide range of industrial switch modules, converters and other devices. Each digital input channel is compatible with 24 V logic levels. The NI-9425 features isolation between the input and output banks as well as channel-to-ground resistance isolation. The NI-9425 cannot be used in a CompactDAQ chassis for counter operations.

The digital modules of the C series provide digital input and output signals for the CompactDAQ and CompactRIO hardware systems. The modules support various industrial sensors, switches and devices. They can operate with different voltages and logic levels, making the modules flexible for many benchtop and industrial applications.

The digital modules offer isolation options and have power consuming and power supplying functions to provide additional protection for your digital I/O design. In conjunction with the CompactRIO system, you can also use LabVIEW FPGA to develop high-speed counters/timers or digital communication protocols, for example. The NI-DAQmx driver included in the scope of delivery simplifies the configuration and execution of measurements.
