The NI 9246 C Series analog input module is designed for direct bolt-on connections for three-phase high current measurements from transformers (1 A and 5 A). The three-channel module is optimized for power and energy applications in industrial environments and can measure currents from 0 to 20 Arms with a resolution of 24 bits. The safety features, certifications, input ranges, surge ranges and connectivity are suitable for applications such as power quality monitoring and measurement, intelligent switches on power poles, substation merging units, industrial measurement applications, fault monitoring, machine condition monitoring, predictive forecasting and maintenance, and phasor measurement units (PMUs).
