"The NI Seminar LabVIEW Basics 3 (Instructor-led Training)" is offered both as a face-to-face training course in Munich and as a virtual online training course, during which you can interact with a certified course instructor.
This course is the third step in the NI LabVIEW learning path and is an extension of the LabVIEW Fundamentals 2 course.
The LabVIEW Fundamentals 3 seminar provides you with a structured approach to designing, implementing, documenting, and testing LabVIEW applications. The focus of the course is on developing understandable, scalable and maintainable hierarchical applications. The methods and procedures presented help to develop stable applications and to shorten the development time of applications. You will learn how to develop a custom user interface prototype for initial usability testing. The course also introduces you to LabVIEW tools such as the Project Explorer window and the message queue handler.
After completing this course, you will be able to apply design practices to avoid unnecessary application redesigns, increase VI reuse, and minimize maintenance costs.
Overview of the topics:
- Rapid application development
- Use Project Explorer to organize LabVIEW projects and resolve file conflicts
- Use the Message Queue Handler project template to develop a multi-loop application
- Use of detectors for data transmission from one loop to several loops running in parallel
- Developing custom user interface prototypes for testing purposes
- Local or global error handling depending on the severity of the error
- Develop, integrate and test scalable, understandable and maintainable code modules
Target group:
- LabVIEW and Developer Suite users who want to increase the performance, scalability and reusability of their extensible applications and reduce maintenance costs
