"The NI Seminar LabVIEW Basics 1 (Instructor-led Training)" is offered both as a face-to-face training course in Munich and as a virtual online training course, during which you can interact with a certified course instructor.
The LabVIEW Fundamentals 1 seminar teaches you the basics of developing applications in the LabVIEW programming environment. Learn about the LabVIEW user interface, dataflow programming, and common LabVIEW development techniques. In this course, you will learn how to develop applications for data acquisition (DAQ), device control, data logging, and measurement analysis.
After completing the course, you will be able to use various editing and debugging techniques and create applications using the state machine design pattern to acquire, process, display, and store measurements using DAQ, GPIB, or serial port devices. You will also learn how to create and save VIs for use as subVIs.
Overview of the topics:
- Interactively acquire and analyze data from NI hardware (NI DAQ devices) and non-NI hardware (GPIB devices).
- Create and program a LabVIEW application to collect, analyze, and visualize data
- Creating user interfaces with charts, graphs and buttons
- Using programming structures, data types, and analysis and signal processing algorithms in LabVIEW
- Debugging and error handling in applications
- Working with single or multi-channel datasets
- Log data to a file
- Use of best programming practices for code reusability and readability
- Implementation of a sequencer using the state machine design pattern
Target group:
