789542-01 | NI PCIe-8383, x8 Gen2 MXI-Express for PXI Express Interface

The PCIe-8383 is an MXI Express remote controller for devices or systems that are connected via PCI to a computer with a PCI Express slot. The remote controller uses a PCIe x8 interface to establish a connection via copper cable to the PXIe-8381 module for remote control of the PXI system. The connection is transparent to software applications and drivers, allowing you to use standard desktop computers and servers to control connected devices without additional programming. With the PCIe-8383, compatible PXI modules can be used like PCI modules installed directly in the computer. The PCIe-8383 only supports Windows 10 and newer Windows operating systems.
