The cDAQ-9173 from NI is a bus-powered CompactDAQ USB chassis (type C with 4 slots) that is suitable for compact, portable sensor measurement systems. The chassis offers the plug-and-play functionality of USB for the connection of sensory and electrical measurements. It is suitable for timing and synchronization of NI C-Series I/O modules and data transfer between the modules and an external host. This chassis can also be used with various C Series I/O modules for a combination of analog I/O, digital I/O and counter/timer measurements. In addition, the cDAQ-9173 has four 32-bit universal counters and timers. Thanks to multiple timing engines, four hardware-clocked processes can be executed simultaneously, with three independent sampling rates available for analog acquisition.
