The NI ‑ 9212 module has thermocouple input channels that are isolated channel by channel. The channel-to-channel isolation of the NI 9212 protects the individual channels from continuous voltages of up to 250 VRMS and transient voltages of up to 1500 VRMS. The NI ‑ 9212 can be used in a variety of applications where bank isolated channels are less suitable, including testing household appliances, logging data in and on the vehicle, testing battery stacks, and other applications in noisy industrial environments.
