781365-01 | NI PCI-8516/2, NI-XNET-LIN interface card (2 connections)

The PXI-8516/2 module is a LIN (Local Interconnect Network) interface for application development with the NI-XNET driver. The PXI-8516/2 board is particularly suitable for applications where hundreds of CAN frames and signals need to be manipulated in real time and at high speeds, such as hardware-in-the-loop simulations, rapid control prototyping, bus monitoring, bus supervision, automation control and many more. With the NI-XNET DMA engine, the onboard processor can transfer LIN frames and signals between interfaces and the user program without CPU interrupts. This reduces message latency and frees up processor time for processing complex models and applications.
