The NI ‑ 9476 uses industrial logic levels and signals so it can be connected directly to a wide variety of industrial switch modules, converters, and other devices. Each channel is compatible with signals from 6 V to 36 V, depending on the external power supply, and has overvoltage protection against transients between the output channels and the backplane. The integrated protection against overvoltage and short circuits can be monitored programmatically for each channel.
