The PXI ‑ 5441 is a 43 ‑ MHz arbitrary generator for generating user-defined, arbitrary waveforms as well as other standard waveforms such as "sine", "square", "triangle" and "ramp" and signals that require integrated signal processing. These signal processing functions include FIR and CIC interpolation filters, digital amplifier parameters per filter, a numerically controlled oscillator and IQ modulation for quadrature digital upconversion. The PXI ‑ 5441 also has advanced synchronization and data streaming capabilities.
