The basic spectrum analyzer is designed for general use in the laboratory or in production. It offers a frequency range of 9 KHz to 4 GHz with a noise level of max. - 162 dBm / Hz DANL (Displayed Average Noise Level) (with activated preamplifier) with a resolution bandwidth of 10 Hz to 3 MHz and an aging rate of 0.1 ppm per year.
During the construction, special emphasis was placed on intuitive and simple operation. This means that the device can be set up by the operating personnel much more quickly and the measurement result is available more quickly. This is supported by the fact that 7 softkeys can be programmed by the user in order to be able to call up repetitive measurements more quickly. For easier test automation, the task manager can be used to set up measurement tasks and settings, which can then be called up repeatedly during the measurement process.
An optionally built-in tracking generator with a built-in VSWR bridge (voltage standing wave ratio), the additional possible reflection measurements, e.g. B. Return loss, offer you more insight into your circuit or modules.
The Keysight Basic Spectrum Analyzers are available in four versions . In addition to the variant presented here, the BSA is also available with a bandwidth of up to 7 GHz (N9322C) , up to 13.6 GHz (N9323C) and up to 20 GHz bandwidth (N9324C) .
