Description

PT4 SET | EFT Generator Set

The PT4 set is used for efficient immunity analysis of assemblies and devices. The PT4 burst transformer converts the pulses from the EFT/burst generator into potential-free burst pulses. These are fed into the test object in sections, allowing sensitive areas of the test object to be localized.

The set also contains a magnetic and an E-field source, which are also fed by the EFT/burst generator. The field emerging from the field source head is used to scan the surface of test specimens. Weak points are thus precisely localized and can be assigned to the fault patterns that occur during standard testing.

The burst transformer and the connection cable of the field sources are available with SHV connector (HV SHV-SMB 1 m) or with Fischer connector (HV FI-SMB 1 m) on customer request. Please specify when ordering.

The galvanic isolation of the burst pulses from the burst generator enables measurements with an oscilloscope during interference and significantly reduces incorrect measurements due to interference with the oscilloscope.
