The Keysight PV8931A Photovoltaic Array Simulator is a high performance tester from the PV8900 series, specially designed for applications with high current requirements. With a maximum power of 30 kW and an output current of up to 60 A, the PV8931A offers the highest current capacity within the series. These features make it ideal for developing and testing modern solar inverters designed for larger solar installations.

Product features of the PV8931A:

High current capacity: With a maximum current of 60 A, the PV8931A is particularly suitable for applications that require a high current at a maximum voltage of 1500 V.

Extended output power: The maximum power of 30 kW provides sufficient capacity for the development and testing of solar inverters in larger solar systems.

Autoranging function: Like all models in the PV8900 series, the PV8931A supports an autoranging output characteristic that enables a variety of voltage and current combinations at full power. This increases flexibility and reduces the need for multiple power supplies.

Precision and stability: The PV8931A is characterized by a low ripple and noise voltage of only 2.25 V, which ensures precise replication of PV array characteristics.

Compact design: Despite its high performance, the PV8931A has a space-saving design with a height of 5U, making it ideal for applications with limited space.

Expandability: Multiple PV8931A units can be connected in parallel to achieve a total output of up to 600 kW. This enables flexible and scalable test environments.
