Description
N9923A | FieldFox Handheld µW network analyzer, 2 MHz to 4/6 GHz, USB 2.0, LAN, battery
Fieldfox = 7 in one go. Depending on the option, the device consists of a signal generator + vector volt meter + power meter + interference analyzer + spectrum analyzer + network analyzer + cable and antenna analyzer. And all this in a portable device for installation, service, for checking the spectrum of high-frequency systems and for interference studies!
The FieldFox network analyzer (Network Analyzer) N9923A for field use offers functions for transmission / reflection measurements with magnitude and phase as standard. With the optional 2-port S-parameter test set of the N9923A, all 4 S-parameters can be measured simultaneously. The built-in vector voltmeter (VVM) can measure the phase difference and the electrical length of the test object. The other FieldFox applications include distance-to-fault and VSWR tests, measurement of the overall performance and the characterization of 75 Ω cable TV sets.
The built-in "QuickCal" routine eliminates temperature drifts and changes by using different plugs. This guarantees reliable, stable and repeatable measurements. Furthermore, this device also complies with the MIL-Class2 standard.
The N9923A is particularly suitable for the following measurements:
- 2-port measurements: S11, S21, S12, S22 measurements according to amount and phase
- Cable and antenna measurements, return loss and measurement of the electrical distance to the fault
- Cable loss measurement (one-port measurement)
- Insertion loss and transmission measurements
- Smith chart and polar representation
- Vector voltmeter measurements
- Power measurements with external USB power measurement sensor
