The module N6782A contains a source and measuring unit for the function test of a module or device. With the possibility to modulate the source and the sink with 100 kHz (2-quadrant operation), the module N6782A makes it a unique device on the market with which you can e.g. B. DC / DC converter, power management units, power amplifiers and power ICs can be measured. The input of the DUT can be stimulated by fast source and waveform programming. Since the output behavior of the DUT (device under test) can be recorded simultaneously with the stimuli at the input by the programmable load, this module is a perfect test arrangement.
The distinguishing feature of the measuring system is that dynamic processes can be measured with high precision without transients or distortions when changing the measuring range. If the voltage and current values to be measured change on the DUT, the SMU automatically and seamlessly selects the current and voltage measuring range that allows the best possible accuracy without switching peaks distorting the measurement result. A patented technology that Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) calls "Seamless Measurement Ranging".
