The Keysight N6766A, a module of the Precision DC series , offers an output voltage of 0 to 60 V at a maximum of 17 A. A power of 500 W can be requested from this module. In conjunction with the N6705 power analyzer, you can easily analyze the power consumption of your DUT (device under test).
The very low output noise and the very precise current control in the milli- and micro-amp range are to be emphasized. At the same time, the output current and voltage can be measured and these data values and the values for the output power can be stored in an oscilloscope-like data memory.
The power supply module has a flexible, power- controlled autorange output stage that reduces the current when the output voltage is high or the voltage when the output current is high so that the maximum output power is not exceeded. This means that a wide range of applications can be covered with just one module and, in comparison and depending on the voltage setting, offers up to three times higher output power.
The complete module system includes 4 mainframes (N6700, N6701 and N6702 for test systems) and a mainframe (N6705) *), which is used for use in the workplace e.g. B. in development and service, in which the module N6766A can be used.
The main area of application is development and production in automatic test systems (ATE).
