Description

N2851A | Attachment for InfiniiMax I / II probe, 12 GHz, differential, quick probe tip

The three-pin QuickTip head for the InfiniiMax I / II probes is magnetic, as is its three-pin counterpart (N2849A). If this counterpart is soldered into the circuit at the corresponding test points, the probe can be fixed on this counterpart by means of the magnetic head. It is a fast and flexible connection in a frequency range up to 12 GHz. The three contact surfaces are gold-plated. If several of these QuickTips are distributed on a circuit board, the oscilloscope probe can be used to switch from one measuring point to another very quickly. With these test heads, single-ended, differential and common-mode measurements can be carried out.

The N2849 QuickTips can be used with the two QuickTip heads N2848A for InfiniiMax III / III + and the N2851A QuickTip head N2851A for InfiniiMax I / II. With this system, two different probe systems can be used to contact test points. With the 1169A probe amplifier, the QuickTipsN2851A / N2849A, measurements up to bandwidths of 12 GHz can be carried out.

In order to work with the QuickTip head N2851A and an Infiniium oscilloscope, the operating software version 5.30 or higher must be installed on the oscilloscope.
