N1501A | Dielectric Probe Kit

The Keysight Probe Kit N1501A in conjunction with the software N1500A, with option 004, for dielectric material measurements enables a vector network analyzer from Keysight to determine the essential electromagnetic properties of many dielectric materials. Since the material properties are determined by the molecular structure of the material, the measurement results can be related to other desired properties. In many branches of industry, measurements are a prerequisite for inventing / determining and assembling new materials / material properties.

Depending on the option used, the Probe Kit N1501A covers a frequency range from 200 MHz to 50 GHz. It can be used for all areas of the product life cycle: in development, incoming goods inspection, in the production process and in quality control. So z. B. important information about the materials used in typical RF and microwave components.

The measured values can also be correlated with the electromagnetic properties of the pure materials when determining bio-masses, bulk material densities, bacterial contents and chemical concentrations.
