The Keysight MP4301A is a 6kW, 200/208 Vac mainframe with excellent power and channel density. The 2U mainframe can accommodate up to six SAS modules and thus offers a compact solution even when emulating many PV segments.
Primarily a programmable DC power source with very low output capacitance, the Keysight MP4301A Modular Solar Array Simulator (SAS) is capable of rapidly determining the IV curve of various arrays under various conditions (e.g. temperature, age, etc.). simulate.
The Keysight SAS offers three modes of operation: simulator (SAS), table and fixed mode. To accurately simulate the IV curve of a solar array, use SAS or Table mode. When a standard power supply is required as a source or load, use Fixed Mode.
The MP4301A is part of the Keysight MP4300 series, which offers two classes of 1kW SAS modules: the powerful MP4361A 160V/10A auto-ranging module and the MP4362A 130V/8A module.
