In-depth insights into the power consumption of your test object - without having to assemble a complex test system: The basic device N6705C Black-Edition of the N6700C family, designed for development, service and also production, accommodates a total of up to 4 progr. DC power supply modules with multimeter, oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator and data logger functions, with a total output power of 600 W. The output voltages of these 4 power modules can be set independently of each other via the front panel and without the need for programming or a PC.

Digital multimeter functions for voltages and currents, arbitrary function of the output variables, oscilloscope and data logger functionality make the system as a whole a universal source with integrated measurement functions that helps you to test your DUT (device under test) quickly and accurately.

Typical applications for the N6705C:

Power consumption when switching a DUT on and off
Very important nowadays: Checking software to ensure that a mobile device is not switched on and off continuously and unnoticed. This may increase the operating time of a mobile device Significantly
Measure the time-dependent voltage and current parameters of your DUT
Evaluate the switch-on and switch-off behavior of a DC power supply
Generate transients and operating faults of a DC voltage source
Record data in seconds or daily intervals to measure power consumption or detect anomalies
Save data either internally or externally via USB
Save and name test routines for easy repeatability of measurement sequences
