The Keysight N6755A, a module from the High-Performance DC voltage series, offers an output voltage of 0 to 20 V at a maximum of 50 A. A power of 500 W can be drawn from this module, which distinguishes it from the N6753A, from which only 300 W can be drawn. It is characterized by fast programmability (approx. 10 to 50 times faster than other programmable power supplies) and high precision of the output values. A high-speed test option is also available, which is typically used for transient testing of the DUT (device under test).

In conjunction with the N6705 power analyzer, you can easily examine the power consumption of your DUT. The low output noise and precise current control in the milli- and micro-ampere range should be emphasized. At the same time, the output current and voltage can be measured and these data values as well as the values for the output power can be stored in an oscilloscope-like data memory.

The power supply module has a flexible, power-regulated Autorange output stage, which reduces the current at high output voltages or the voltage at high output currents so that the maximum output power is not exceeded. This means that a wide range of applications can be covered with just one module and, depending on the voltage setting, offers up to three times the output power.

The complete module system comprises 4 mainframes (N6700, N6701 and N6702 for test systems) and one mainframe (N6705), which is intended for use at the workstation, e.g. in development and service, in which the N6755A module can be inserted.

The main area of application is development and in production in automatic test systems (ATE).
