N2849A are 4 pieces of replacement magnetic contacts for use with the N2848A QuickTip connector.

The Keysight N2848A/49A QuickTip offers a magnetic connector that allows self-retaining contact to be made at test points in tightly packed circuit boards. The N2848A probe head quickly pulls onto the docking point. Multiple probe docking points can be accommodated on a circuit board and this magnetic technology allows reproducible measurements to be carried out. QuickTip probes are supported on the InfiniiMode probes when they are equipped with the InfiniiMax III+ probe amplifier. Differential signals can be recorded with QuickTip probes when the InfiniiMax III probe amplifier is used.
