The transceiver kit for high frequency applications (RF/radio frequency) consists of a transmitter and receiver module in superheterodyne architecture. It has various RF functional components such as a low-noise amplifier, filter, mixer, oscillator and power amplifier. Both modules can be examined independently or in conjunction with other modules to simulate a subsystem.

The transceiver kit is controlled by a Windows-based control panel software via USB. A program for automated measurement processes demonstrates the automation properties of a high frequency circuit. The program sequence is carried out using a signal generator and a spectrum analyzer.

The RF training kit also contains eight worksheets in editable Microsoft Word format, each of which takes about three hours to complete. Sample answers are provided with all work documents.
