8497K | Programmable step attenuator, DC-26.5 GHz

The 8497K step attenuator can be used in the frequency range from DC to 26.5 GHz. The attenuation can be changed in steps of 10 dB, starting at 0 to 90 dB. The gold-plated contacts provide precise and repeatable attenuator values with a typical deviation of maximum 0.01 dB. In order to have safe values that can be traced back to the NIST standard, a table of all measured values for SWR and attenuation can be ordered with option UK6. The maximum switchover time including secure closing of the contacts is specified with 20ms. Application-specific combinations of switches and attenuators are possible for the user. The connection kit 11716A enables fast and reliable connections to the other attenuator series such as 8494/5/6/7, which enable attenuation in 1dB or 10 dB steps.
