The Keysight 34906A module for the 34970A / 34972A measurement data acquisition / switching system is an RF multiplexer (75 ohms) for broadband switching operations and pulse signals. It routes the test signals between the device and a frequency generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or other instruments.

The RF multiplexer consists of 2 independent 1 x 4 multiplexers. The connections can be made directly via the SMB inputs with 2 GHz bandwidth or via the BNC to SMB adapter cable with a bandwidth of 1 GHz. A connection to the internal DMM of the 34970A / 34972A is not possible.
