Description
EVO20000-25NEG | HV power supply unit, negative output, 20,000 V / 25 mA / 500 W, incl. RAMP & ARC
The EVO 20000 high voltage power supply from Heinzinger is part of the advanced EVO series, designed for the highest precision and fast regulation in HV applications. With an output voltage of up to 20,000 V DC, this device offers a powerful and flexible solution for a wide range of industrial and scientific applications.
The HV power supply is characterized by its compact design and high power density, while requiring only 2U (89 mm) of rack space. This makes it particularly attractive for applications where space is at a premium. The fully digital control is realized by a microcontroller in combination with an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), which enables exceptionally fast and precise signal processing. This technology allows the power supply unit to be optimally adapted to different load conditions and guarantees precise voltage and current regulation.
The EVO 20000 is available with a positive or negative output voltage. Unlike other models in the EVO series, a switchable, reversible output is not available. The device has numerous digital interfaces, including Ethernet and RS232, which enable easy integration into existing control systems. An SCPI command set and a LabView driver (on request) additionally support the remote control and automation of processes.
The power supply is equipped with a color 3.5-inch TFT display that enables intuitive menu navigation. The device can be operated completely manually with just two buttons and a rotary encoder. In addition, configurable access protection for the submenus and a comprehensive error and event log with time stamps ensure a high level of operational reliability.
The devices can be used either as rack-mounted or desktop units. They are also equipped with a wide AC input voltage range (single-phase), which facilitates use in different network environments.
At dataTec, all models in the EVO series are already available with integrated EVO Ramp Control and ARC Detection. EVO Ramp Control enables controlled up and down regulation of the voltage with an adjustable gradient. EVO ARC Detection: This function detects fluctuations in the output voltage and can automatically switch off the device if necessary.
The EVO 20000 devices are used in various high-tech areas such as semiconductor testing, solar cell testing, e-mobility, coating processes and high-voltage testing. Thanks to their high precision and fast response times, they are ideal for production and development environments.
With the EVO 20000, Heinzinger offers a powerful and flexible solution for demanding high-voltage applications that impresses with its compact design, high precision and ease of use.
