The GW Instek PSW40-27 is a programmable 1-channel multi-range DC laboratory power supply. The devices of the GW Instek PSW series are particularly characterized by their high efficiency and the flexible setting and application options. The flexible, adjustable power control automatically adjusts the output voltage and output current so that the maximum output power is not exceeded. Furthermore, the laboratory power supply can be connected to other units in series (2 units) and parallel (up to 3 units). Thus, connected in series, you can achieve up to 60 V / 72 A; connected in parallel up to 30 V / 216 A.
Thanks to this high level of flexibility, the power supply units can be used for many performance requirements. This noticeably reduces your costs for additional power supplies.
The GW Instek PSW40-27 has a constant voltage (Constant Voltage CV) and constant current (Constant Current CC) function. This protects your device under test (DUT) from overshoot or current spikes.
Rise times and fall times (slew rates) can be set for both voltage and current. This makes it possible to test the DUT in a controlled manner with changing voltages and currents. Furthermore, the power supply has an output on / off control with programmable delay. Define the switching on / off of connected power supplies at fixed times to simulate changing voltages and currents. Program these processes via the analogue interface on your PC.
Of course, the DC power supply has overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP) and overheating protection (OHP).
The GW Instek PSW 40-27 is equipped with a USB and LAN interface as standard. A GPIB-USB adapter is optionally available. The analog interface available on the rear is also available as an option. This enables you to conveniently control, set and monitor externally via your PC.
