Description

DS3-SBD | I²C, SPI and UART option for GDS-3000 oscilloscope series, only 4 channels

With the widespread serial bus systems in “embedded applications”, the requirements for correct triggering and decoding of the serial data stream are increasing. It must be possible to assess the individual pulse shapes and the control signals in the communication process on the physical level. This is not easy and is a challenge for the development engineers.

The SBD analysis software from GW Instek offers tools for complete analysis with triggering and decoding of the widely used bus protocols I²C, SPI and UART in connection with the oscilloscopes of the GDS-3000 series from GW Instek. Instead of a time-consuming manual search and decoding in the serial data flow, the user can use this software to set the trigger conditions so that they receive the data packets of interest.
