The Gossen Metrawatt U100A EnergySens Escom is an intelligent sensor system developed for measuring energy, current, voltage and frequency. It enables power measurement on individual consumers in low-voltage systems. With this system you can localize, monitor and transparently display energy consumption in more detail. This helps to avoid unnecessary costs and contribute to sustainable company development.
The EnergySens Escom not only supports you in saving energy costs, but also helps you by monitoring phase load in the area of preventative maintenance and minimizing downtimes. It is an important building block for Industry 4.0. The measurement is carried out on lines in low-voltage distributors, e.g. B. on fuses in the control cabinet. Thanks to its compact design, installing EnergySens is particularly easy, whether in new systems or if energy capture is to be retrofitted in existing systems.
The EnergySens Escom has minimal internal consumption, which guarantees you an optimal cost-benefit ratio. There are different sensor versions with 3 or 12 measuring points and the nominal current is 40 A or 80 A. Thanks to the universal Modbus interface (TCP/RTU), integration into any system is possible. It is easy to retrofit energy capture directly into existing systems, even where space is limited. All measuring technology is combined in the smallest space, which is particularly important since the overall height is very low.
The modular system consists of the EnergySens COM basic module and up to 10 sensors (ES4003, ES4012, ES8003, ES8012). These sensors in turn have several measuring points with which the performance of individual consumers can be measured. The system can be expanded or changed at any time. This means that up to 120 measuring points can be integrated into the system via a communication unit.
